This school year we are celebrating our 35th Anniversary of serving the students and teachers at the Yakima School District! The logo you see is a mix of the Yakima Schools Foundation logo from 35 years ago combined with elements of our current logo – highlighting our commitment to the original mission and vision of the foundation with the progress and impact we’ve made for education together with the community over the last 35 years.

The impact we’ve made over the last 35 years would not have been possible without the unwavering community support of individuals and businesses in Yakima committed to providing the best educational experience possible to our students. This year we are kicking off special ways to show your support and you can help us reach our goal of raising $35,000 to support students in the Yakima School District by becoming a 35th Anniversary Individual Champion or a 35TH Anniversary Business Champion.

We have some exiting special events planned that call back to our roots and celebrate the last 35 years and prepare us for the next 35 years. Our celebration kicks off with the 2025 Hoptoberfest and continues into the spring with our 2nd Annual Bowl-a-Thon. Then we have a special mystery event happening in the summer and we cap it all off with the 2026 Hoptoberfest! Sprinkled in throughout the year will be smaller events aimed at celebrating students, teachers, and our community.
