How to Donate to YSF
$10,000 Matching Gift to the Performing Arts Endowment!
The Yakima Schools Foundation has been given a unique opportunity.
A family who continues to be one of our very passionate donors,
and who is very involved in the Arts, has offered a $10,000
Match. Which means we will double the contribution with each
dollar we raise! The goal is to bring the total in the Performing
Arts Endowment to over $50,000 which would increase the dividends
and allow us to fund more programs in our schools.
Over the last few years Yakima Schools Foundation, with the
help of our many donors has been able to build our endowment
funds. We have been able to fund many new and exciting programs
and opportunities for our students. Our goal with all our
endowments is to only use dividends to support requests from
our educators.

 You
can support the work of the Yakima Schools Foundation in a number
of ways:
- Donate by attending or supporting one our three fundraising
events: Tour de Harvest, the Sweetheart's
Ball, and Celebrate Our Youth.
- Give a cash gift during the direct mail Holiday Campaign at
the end of each year.
- Make a designated donation for a special project in our schools.
- Give a gift in memory of special individuals who had a personal
interest in the education of our students.
Other fundraising efforts include:
- Yakima School District employees provide strong support through
payroll deductions.
- The Yakima Schools Foundation also submits many grant requests
locally and to many funding sources throughout our country.
- Our investments also generate funds to support opportunities
for our youth.
Thanks to all these fundraising effots and the many who care about
the future of our kids, we are able to assist many worthwhile programs
within the Yakima School District.

The Yakima Schools Foundation welcomes Charitable Gifts in the

- Contributions to our Endowments
- Memorial gifts
- Corporate gifts
- Bequests/Estate giving

are pleased to accept Charitable Gifts in the form of securities;
stocks, bonds, mutual funds and CDs. We also can help with any questions
you may have regarding Planned Giving. Please contact Patty Dion,

may have regarding transfer and tax related questions. An acknowledgment
of your gift will be provided.
